I am far too selfish to have a big brood. I really miss my child free life. I am a single mum and tbh It's not all I hoped it would be.

Lol. Kids are hard work but they're good fun and in no time at all they're off your hands. I have 2dds with a 7 year age gap. They're 4 and 11. Still a bit time for me to get rid them to leave home. Grin

I think that's fair enough. You know yourself well enough to know what's right for you. :)

It might just be the stage. I felt a lot like that when DS was a baby ? it was so so hard and I really missed my earlier life, as much as I loved him. Now he's a toddler I find it a lot easier and am much more content with our lives.

He would always be an only anyway (our family feels complete as it is, I'm an only myself so quite happy with the idea, and we could never afford a second anyway), but I don't think I could go through the baby stage again.
