i am/was very happy with nursery.....the staff are lovely, dc progressing well, planned for dc3 to go to same nursery.
However all the good lovely loyal staff workers are either leaving or thinking of leaving, citing that the main boss is the problem with her unreasonable behaviour. I've been told she shows little consideration for her employees and only cares about money. Boss must be quite bad as some of the workers are quitting with no jobs to go to yet....
Plus the boss dismissed her Manager over something fairly trivial recently.
Not sure what to do?......do i not get involved and hope it blows over and that no more of the good people leave and/or hope the replacements are just as good.......
or.......
write an anonymous diplomatic letter to the boss detailing that she should look at her managerial manner and emphasise that the staff members are critical to good nursery care, and parent satisfaction.
Not really wanting to get involved, but as a Manager myself, find it worrying that this boss is not remotely worried that her good team are deserting her.
Plus worry my dc will not get continuity of care.
As a parent, i feel it is the PEOPLE you leave your kids with that are the most important....once you find a good team, you want to keep them. If more staff leave I may feel obligated to switch nurseries, even though less convenient to do so.
Should i write the letter or not?
