Nurseries near Surbiton / Kingston

Hi everyone. I've just moved to Surbiton from overseas and am looking at nurseries in the area for my one year old ds for two mornings or afternoons a week so I can go to the gym/hairdresser etc. Because he won't be there all day, every day, although I like to feed him mostly organic food, that is not my main issue...I have just read a few horror stories about children being screamed at or left to cry, or other equally hideous things that have just made me think again about what I'm doing.
Can anyone recommend a good one in the Kingston / Surbiton / Berrylands area where the staff are kind and will be lovely to my little boy?!! Thanks

I read about bubble's nurseries and they looked so fabulous, but he's too young for a place there yet and it's a bit of a distance from me anyway.

I so wish we could help you tangox3! We have a nursery in Hampton and another one in Ham (between Kingston and Richmond.) Both are probably too far from Surbiton, if you're looking for sessional care, so I suggest you move nearer to us immediately.

Good luck with your search. I can't really tell you about any nurseries in the area but I'm sure you'll find a lovely one local to you somewhere. Lots of legwork is now required, visit, visit and visit again. You'll get a gut-feeling when you walk into the place that is right for your little man. If you need any help at all, CAT me.

hi - bumping up this thread as we are looking for a full time nursery in the Berrylands/Surbiton area.
DS is 3 and half and a very social boy, he's been in a nursery since he was a year old and loves the interaction.

We are new to the area and found that cannot find anything for his age group- he's either too old or too young for anything we have seen so far ifkwim.
We wouldn't mind getting a childminder for him who would drop him off and pick him up from school, but have no idea on how to go about looking for a childminder in the area.
Help please
