Will new gov axe free childcare?

Will it be axed (for 3 and 4 yr olds) - and if so when? Please not from this Sept as financially may not be worth my while looking for work until my daughter starts school. She is/was entitled to the NEG grant from this sept (she is 3 in July).

Does anyone know what the plans are on this?? Will it be earnings related? If so what's the threshold?

I don't think it will be clear until the emrgency budget is announced. However I suspect it won't affect children already eligible nor those this coming year
