When you have a look round check to see if the toys are all in good condition and that the pencils and pens in the art area are sharpened and working. The one I visited failed on those points. Read the ofsted report as well. They are for parents to read. If it was unsatisfactory or only satisfactory, don't go there.

thanks TiggyD. I'll keep a look out and def read the Offsted rep. thanks

They have a great website and brochure, but the one I visited was really small and shabby. Staff seemed lovely though, but wasn't prepared to use them (and they were expensive) considering other local nurseries had better facilities.

thanks Turkeyboots..they did sound very expensive when I spoke to them over the phone.. DO you by any chance know of good nurseries in W2. Just relocated to Ldn from overseas so this is all very new.. Much Appreciated

We use a Kidsunlimited nursery outside of London and are very happy with it. But we were not so keen on the other KU nursery near us. I think that you just have to visit and judge for yourself. FWIW, the cost at our nursery for 3 days is £610/month for under 2s, including one Monday/Friday each week (those days are cheaper due to less demand).

Hi,
Kids unlimited run the on-site nursery where I work (hsbc). Both my dc went there for 4.5 years each and they loved it.

The site/facilities are provided by my employer and is of a very good quality and they also subsidised the fees.
