Hi, I will be returning to the 9-5 in September and my precious little one will need to attend nursery for 2-3 days a week.

We live in Warrington, Cheshire. She will be 20 months old in Sept '10.

Wondered if anyone had any recommendations (or equally, places to avoid?) We are flexible about location, our primary concern is getting the right place for her and we'll fit ourselves in around that.

Thanks for any help :-)

hi, i have no direct experience but my friend's DS went to the kids academy one on manchester rd, the family have moved away otherwise he would still be there, they were very happy with the nursery. sorry about no capital letters, have a slighty clingy 2 yr old on my lap!

Thanks Knitter. I've viewed this place. It seemed ok but it's quite expensive compared to others, and I'm not sure why, unless it's because of the kudos of it's 'famous' owner.

One thing that worried me was they charge an extra £2.50 for each 7.30-8 am slot and 6-6:30 pm slot on top of regular fees, which alread seem at the top end for Warrington (£38 / day). We may need frequent early drop off or collection depending on our work schedules & commute, and this could add up steeply over a month, as we have no family near by enough to help out if we're delayed.

No capitals = no problem, just grateful for the info!

Ouch, I had no idea about the fees!

Which bit of Warrington do you live in, btw?

Have you had a look at kids planet? There is one attatched to beamont school (I don't know much about this one) near the TA base which is small in comparison to the others (holds 9 or 12 in the room your daughter would be in) and one in the town centre on legh street at the back of debenhams. This one is larger, not much of a garden but IMO the provision and resources make up for it. Also one in lymm but might be too far out for you!

NOT First Steps Nursery in Lowton Warrington, EVER.

Try the Kids Unlimited outside of Warrington, dh visited and said it was fab and it's got an outstanding rating. x
