Hm I can't remember the cut off date but it may well not be until September 2010 now? :/

juneybean · 19/03/2010 11:05

Hi she won't get them until September as they get them the term after their 3rd birthday. I had the same thing my dd's birthday is 9th April and i had to wait until September.

If my dd will be 3 in Jan 2011 when will she qualify? Thanks.

juneybean · 19/03/2010 11:48

1st April 2011

term here wont start till 19th April, so would get it then here ?

Northernlurker · 19/03/2010 17:07

It's their birthday that's the issue not the start of term. My dd is April 21st so we're September too. However remember all you April 07 mums - we were the first lot of due dates to get 9 months paid M/L so it's not all bad

dontrunwithscissors · 19/03/2010 20:32

Hmm, my DD was born 03/04/07, but my due date was 25/03/07 so I didn't get the extra mat leave money

Eddas · 19/03/2010 20:51

funding cut off's are;

31 Dec for Jan funding
31 March for April funding
31 August for Sept funding

My ds is 13th April so we miss it by a few days still as NL said I did actually get 9 months paid leave as he was due 2nd April

Eddas · 19/03/2010 20:53

and it doesn't matter when the term dates are, the cut off dates I said are what counts. It's the same as the cut-off for starting school is 31 August.

Bloody annoying though!!

littleducks · 19/03/2010 20:58

Oh dear my ds is an april fool baby, due the 22nd march i was expecting him to start preschool this sept, and pay for two terms.....i dont think i can afford paying for a full year so he may have to start later by which time dd will have moved up to primary school

Ledodgy · 19/03/2010 20:59

It's from the September after she is three. My dd's Birthday is April 3rd too she'll be 7 though.

atworknotworking · 24/03/2010 12:15

Don't forget the funding for 2yo though. 10 hrs a week FREE!
