Nursery in Enfield - Recommendations please!

Can anyone recommend an excellent nursery in the Enfield or Edmonton area? Specifically around Southbury Road, or Ponders End....

I am thinking of putting 2 year old DS in nursery for 1 day a week then maybe 2 if all goes well. I know nothing about nurseries and their 'rules' so any help/advice would be great.

Our local council website is rubbish, and finding the right info is become more and more frustrating.

thanks

Goldstar Montessorie is an excellent nursery. The facilities they have for babies and children are second to none.

The nursery nurses are so good and are properly qualified. The owner runs the nursery and is there every day and takes a personal interest in everything that goes on. Their ofsted report is very good also.

My lo's speech, numbers, letters are so advanced, it is all down to their teaching.

They are on Baker Street in Enfield, just off Caterhatch Lane tel 0208 3646876.

Thanks Stilletoe, i've just taken a peek on their website and it all looks great!

I'll give them a call tomorrow and find out some costs. Does your LO attend part-time or full-time?

My lo started off part time and then when I went back to work fulltime.

I do think you get your monies worth their, as the class sizes are between 6 -8 children and no more. Therefore your child gets individual attention. They also do a profile book of your childs development over the year with photos and twice year you get to spend time with their key nursery nurse and look through their folder to see exactly what they have been developing in etc. you also get a daily report sheet of what they have eaten, sleep times, nappy changes, and what they have done that day, so although you are not with them, you still feel that you have an insight in to what goes one when you are not there. good luck!
