It was really odd. I felt bad for ds as he was the last one there.

How early do you pick your dc up from nursery?

blame the snow - lots of parents will be working short days (if at all) atm

I sometimes feel bad for taking dd at all on a Friday - it's a really quiet day at our nursery

When I worked at a nursery we found that a lot of our parents would pick up early/earlier on a Friday.

Also you have to factor in the snow etc

phew! His next afternoon is on Tuesday and I will see if it differs.

I don't want to pick him up any earlier, as we are paying for him to go there so that i can spend time with ds2 and get the housework done.

Normally on a Friday, most of the children are picked up before 5 ime. On Tues/Weds/Thurs, there are usually plenty left at 5.30

Our nursery has been closing an hour earlier this week so that the staff can get home ok.

As everyone else says, Fridays people tend to pick up earlier anyway.
Us nursery workers like to finish early (or at least on time) on fridays too.
