presents for staff at nursery

dd goes to a lovely day nursery 3 days a week and I would like to get her teachers presents for xmas. The main ones are 2 ladies and a man who I intend to buy seperatly for.

But, there are several other staff who are supply and cover lunches, tea time etc (long 10.5 hour day so fair enough) and I don't want to leave anyone out, but don't know them well enough to buy them something individual.

Would it be okay to buy something for the 3 maiin teachers each,. and then a tin of shortbread or soemthing for the whole staff to put in the staff room?

Also, what on earthj do I buy a male nursery nurse? Somehow I am stumped, the ladies seem so easy to buy for as I'm sure they'll appreciate wine or chocolates but that seems a bit girly for him.

Any ideas?

you are very lucky to have a male nursery officer at your setting-what a great role model he is .as you dont say what kind of age bracket he's in, you could go for bright funky socks-the children always love these, cinema tickets, stickers etc for his key childrens scrapbooks/learning journeys.....(from a nursery officer therse go down a treat!!)from experience, we are always overwhelmed at the genorosity of parents/carers. bless you all xxx

I posted something similar a week or so ago?

I have bought for seven ladies at my daughters nursery, they vary in ages some early 20's one in her late 50's, so I bought them all a Yankee Candle each, the Christmas Cookie one, its only a token gift but nice all the same!

I'm also going to give a large tin of sweets to the nursery as a whole, the manager told me they put raffle tickets on them so everyone gets to take a few things home, which is a good idea.

I bet he would like chocolate! Thorntons do fun stuff, don't know how much you would spend.
