I am setting up a private playgroup to start in January 2010.This is in response to finding it increasingly difficult to find the right kind of daycare for my toddler.

Are there other mums out there who are looking for a safe, fun and stimulating environment where you can leave your two or three year old with qualified, kind, enthusiastic, caring and fun adults for a couple of hours in the morning? Just enough time to have a quiet break, spend time with your baby or do a few errands?

The focus of the playgroup is on art and crafts, music and singing, storytelling and outdoor play in a fabulous garden.Organic fruit snacks are provided and inclusive of the fee.

This playgroup has a flexible arrangement. Each term you will sign up for the sessions you require and then pay in advance. If there are spaces available you will be able to change your chosen dates a week in advance.

The sessions run from 9.30am to 11.30am, Monday to Friday. They are also available for some of the school holidays.

The fees are £20 per session.

This playgroup is managed by myself - a qualified Primary School teacher of 9 years with expertise in Early Years education and a mother of two.

The playgroup premises are on the ground floor of a large family home, giving the playgroup a homely and comfortable feel. The premises will be ready and available for viewing at the beginning of January.

Please contact me with any further interest and questions and I will reply to you asap.

Depending on demand for an even more flexibile service, it will be possible to sign up for your toddler's sessions monthly and give 24hrs advance notice to change any specific chosen date.

I believe you need to pay Mumsnet for this sort of advertising. Have a look for a topic called Small Business Ads (I think it is). The fee is very reasonable.

Hello, I am defintely looking for some childcare from January as moving to Forest Hill but am looking for 2 full days so don't suppose I would qualify?

kj35 · 27/11/2009 23:59

Please let me know when i can have a look.

pipling · 30/11/2009 13:57

Stokey38 - no, sorry - it is just a drop-off playgroup for 2 hour sessions only.

kj35 - I have just become aware that I need to pay a fee to contact posters (which I have not done yet...but will!)but you can find the playgroup details on the East Dulwich Forum under Drop Off Playgroup Open Mornings.
