Not in my experience.

not usually - my ds2's isn't and it's a proper day nursery open 51 weeks a year

Just I have gotten a part time nursery job to fit in with Olivia's schooling and the lady who interviewed me said they're open 51 weeks a year and I wasn't sure if that meant that they were open bank holiday's or not?

I would guess that's everything bar a week at Christmas but shut on bank holidays too.

I hope its right otherwise I will have to get a taxi for part of journey as buses dont run til 9am on a bank holiday and the nursery is 9 miles away!
