Hi everyone, going through this tough process of choosing a nursery for my DD (1 year old). Would be very grateful for your reviews on the nurseries in the area: I've shortlisted Active Learning, Bobby's playhouse and Little Tug Boat. Perhaps someone has visited a couple of them and can share their view. I would appreciate any info. My head is just spinning.
I've visited Active Learning and Bobby's playhouse and they both feel quite good, but perhaps there are things that you just don't notice on a quick visit. The owner of Bobby's playhouse sounded a bit rude though.

I absolutely agree that the owner of Bobby's Playhouse comes across quite rude when you speak to her, and I have heard this from other mother's as well so you are not alone there! I understand the carers are meant to be fine though. I have heard great things about Active Learning. I'm afraid I do not know anyone at Little Tug Boat so cannot comment on that one.

Hi !
My daughter (2yo)has been at Bobbys since she was 14 months and loves it. The staff are v friendly and the rooms are spacious. She always seems to eat the food and the list of activies she gets up to is more than I do with her!!!

Would definitely recommend it to other parents and have to say that the owner and all the staff are v friendly - and everyone seems to know your kid's name!

Have you been to look around?

Good luck with finding the right place for you and for your daughter

Also wanted to put in a good word for Bobbys. My DD was only there for 6 weeks as I decided not to return to work but I was entirely happy with Bobbys. The owner is nice when you get to know her and the carers in my DD's room were wonderful. One of them is coming to babysit for her tomorrow. DD settled in very well and enjoyed all the activities.

Hi, does anyone use Active Learning in Fulham? I heard there is a lot of staff turnover which is worrysome. Also looking at Pippa Popins which I like but feel may be a bit small for an active boy. Any feedback on these 2 nurseries?
