Teddies in Tonbridge - is parking a nightmare?

I went to look at Teddies in Tonbridge, and really liked it but was a bit put off by it being on a v busy road with v little parking. I have visions of parking miles away and spending 20 minutes getting my two to the door.

If anyone has any useful experience to share I would be v grateful!

Bumping for you.

I used to walk there, so not an issue for me - the completely rubbish staff/leadership were though! To be fair it was so long ago 6.5 yrs and I know the manager was removed/left shortly after my complaint.

coudl you ring the nursery and ask what most parents do?

if like my dd's nursery it opens at 7.30, you will be able to park on single yellows begfore 8 for morning drop off but later in the day may be a problem. Alot ofthe roads in that area are residents only parking.

Thanks - I did ask the staff and was told that it was a 'complete nightmare'! Not the best recommendation! Think I might go somewhere else....

do you need a nursery in tonbridge itself?

if nto i can highly recommend the asquith in southborough, springfield road. DD started there at 11 months and is now 3, the staff are lovely and she is very well settled.

Many thanks - will look into it

It's true that parking can be a nightmare. I often have to do a loop (or two) of the area before I can find a space. A lot of parents use the double yellows outside. I'm a bit chicken to do this as I've had 2 run ins with traffic wardens - thankfully they just told me off -phew! However if I'm desperate after doing the loop 3 times and I haven't spotted a traffic warden on my circuit I have been known to use the lines and pray that I don't get a ticket

Whatever you do, DO NOT use the Vet surgery carpark next door - they were VERY aggro when I once used them whilst heavily pregnant.

My two have been very happy at Teddies
