I'm looking for a nursery reasonably close to West norwood, would consider a 3 mile radias, however am finding it extremly difficult. My little one is 17 months and i need a nursery that does not have a waiting list as long as my arm and that opens from 7.00am as I start work early. Please does anyone have any recommendations as although i'm looking at Ofsted reports for local nurseries I would like a parents point of view rather than just inspectors!

Elm Park Nursery on Clarence Rd has had some very happy long-term MN customers.

Cherubins on Palace rd opens early - was brilliant when it opened, had had reported problems for a while (a couple of Mn-ers made some robust suggestions, as I recall, but have not removed thier children) and may well have improved again - see what you think.

I have requested an information pack for Cherubins. Elm Park nursery doesn't open until 8.00am according to the website which would be too late for me. Thanks very much Blu.

Hi taymum

Have you looked into childminders for your area? A lot do start as early as 7.

To be honest I'm not really keen on Childminders...I;d prefer a nursery where she's in a larger setting, I think she would enjoy it more. But it's something to keep in mind...as I'm getting desperate.
