Hi does anyones lo attend Laurel way playgroup in Woodside Park Im thinking about sending my lo there as it has a good Ofsted report Im just wondering if anyone knows what its like. Thankyou

Cherryapple, mine used to go to Laurel Way 20 odd years ago so not much help to you. Have you tried posting on netmums Barnet?

Thanks Ironlady, no I havent tried Netmums.We have looked around Laurel way a few times and are very happy to send our lo there but I was just wondering if anyone knows the nursery.We are very happy with the nursery our lo is in she has come along in leaps and bounds since she started and she loves it but we want her to do more hours a week and financially we cant do it. It is really difficult as I feel sad at taking her out of the current nursery.

cherryapple how old is your lo? whens shes three she/he gets 12.5 free hours a week in a childcare setting? and many nurseries its cheaper when they reach three due to the higher staff:child ratios. so you may still be able to keep her in her currently nursery. . .

Thankyou Siobhan2008, yes I am aware that I could get free hours when my lo is 3 but she will be starting school nursery when shes 3 in Sept 2009.As I mentioned I am very happy with the Rocking Horse but sadly we really cant finance extra hours at the moment.
