Nursery and nappy rash

My dd always seems to have nappy rash on the days she's been at nursery. Should I make a fuss?

yes. They should change her and apply cream provided by you regularly.

My DD used to get this and it really upset me and her. I spoke to the manager and it did eventually stop happening. Yes you should bring it up.

Yes, you should speak to them.

Do make a fuss - but it might not be just lack of changing. My dd2 had this due to eating too much citrus fruit. Once we but it out it stopped.

Do you supply wipes or do they use your own ? Maybe she's allergic to their wipes if they use their own

Well I spoke to the nursery and last week she was better and they changed her more often but today she came home with really bad nappy rash. We supply nappies, wipes, cream and all her food so I don't understand what's causing it. The only thing I can think is that they don't always use her wipes and she's got v sensitive skin (she's got eczema) so we supply alcohol free wipes. I'm going to say something again but do you think I should put something in writing to the nursery manager???

Yes you could put something in writing. How did you address it last week when you spoke to them? If it was just more of a comment in passing then it may be best to first ask to speak to the senior person in that room/manager depending on their set up, and speak to them more "formally" first?

maybe u need to ask is her wipes always used or whether one pack is used at one time for all the children. i've been in a day nursery before and the wipes were just put in the cupboard and one pack taken out at a time.
