I am looking around for Nurserys at the moment and live in New Barnet, work in Enfield. I have looked at Headstart, Woodlands day nursery, KiddiKids and am looking around Salcombe day nursery tomorrow. Does anyone have inside knowledge of any of these? They vary in price from £55 to £70.. Please help!

My daughter has been at Headstart New barnet since she was 11 months old. She is now almost 4. She is very happy there. We love the large outside space that they have and the fact that they like to get the children out and about (ie, to the park or Sainsburys!).

Sainsburys? Thats funny! Thanks for the reply. Looked around two today, they are all now blending into one!

I am looking for a nursery for my baby in the Southgate/Oakwood area. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Cedar Park Nursery is the probably the best nursery in Enfield in my opinion and ds2's. We had two months of crying everyday at a different nursery, then changed to cedar park - happy after 5 minutes there and never wants to go home. The staff are really caring and the grounds are fantastic.

My daughter has been at the enfield headstart branch for a year - she's almost 2. She loves it and we've been very pleased with it - as Caurnie said they have large outdoor space and seem to get out and about most days

Hi my daughter goes to Goldstar Nursery on Baker Street in Enfield. I looked around for ages in the area and even started or did some settling sessions at the ones mentioned on here and others, and didnt like any of them for one reason or another. We've been at Goldstar quite a while now and find them to be the best in and around Enfield. We find the care and teaching outstanding and we've not experienced that in other nurseries.
I hope i've been of help.
