Nurseries in Richmond, Surrey

Which are the good nurseries in Richmond, Surrey and which are the ones to avoid?

What do you mean by nurseries? baby dump or pre-school?

My little boy will be 10 months so maybe thats babydump?

Asquiths - terrible
Kids Academy - terrible - avoid!
Happy times - mixed reports, but total baby dump
Scamps - fab
Rainbow (all three but especially sheen park) - fantastic
Giggles - supposed to be very good
The Studio - supposed to be very good.

Do you want somewhere to leave your child safely all day whilst you go back to work, or short term care, or pre-school semi educational?

Thanks. I need somewhere that I can leave him 2 mornings a week. would like Montessouri but they don't start til the kid is 2ish. Have looked at Monty's. Havent heard of scamps - where are they? Wondering whether nanny or childminder would be better?

Scamps is at the church at the top of Church Road, think they require 'One and walking' but take children for a couple of hours twice a week, Monday/Wed or Tues/Thurs.
Monty's is supposed to be very good.
Giggles might be worth a shot, but is in Kew, not Richmond (not sure if that is a problem).

Monty's is very cramped, though.

I've also heard good things about Scamps. There is King's Road nursery, but I haven't been to see it.

Rainbow takes from 2 and over only, IIRC.

The St Mary Magdalens Montessori on North Worple Way in sw14 is lovely, but they start from 2.

Can only find scamps in Isleworth?

Casa Montesori Richmond - great
Kings Rd - top
Brighthorizons - stable
Rainbow Nursery (all 3) terrible
Windham (state) fab

Maria Grey is top, Rainbow Nursery is not a real nursery (avoid), the rest (bright horizon, kings road, trinity) are in between.
