Should I tell nursery?

Hi all

I am going back to work for three months full time and if I'm not able to move to a parttime position (which is possible) I'm going to leave. DD is going to a nursery two days a week from the beg of the second month. Should I tell nursery of our plans now or just give notice once I go back to work? I know this is v. annoying for the nursery!

Check your contract for your notice period

I wouldn't give much more than that (IMO)

I would just give them the minimum notice period. If that is what they have set then they must be happy with it, and you keep you options open more by leaving it as late as you can.
