Are 2 pre-schools better than 1?

Am wondering what to do with my nearly 3 year old. He has been going to a pre-school in the neighbouring village since 2.5 for 2 mornings a week and loves it (we were going to accompanied sessions for 1.5 years befor that).

The pre-school in the village has a fantastic reputation and we have just started the rising 3s sessions there with a view to him starting 2 mornings a week there when he turns 3.

What do people think? Does anyone else do the same. Am thinking it will be a bit more interesting for him, especially in the long run as he will be there for 2 years being an Oct baby. Or do they just get confused?

Personally I would use just one nursery for stability, but I do know little ones who attend two for various reasons and they do adjust.

The only time I used 2 settings was when I was transfering my child from one setting to another.

I would personally recommend only 1 setting.
