My nursery charges as well. But as said, they have to pay their staff. After all we want to be paid by our employers as well. Same with when we go on holiday. We still pay, as we are paying for ds's place rather than exactly for when he's there. Harsh but probably fair. Only other solution for nursery would be to put up prices even higher and how would that go down.

Ours doesn't - and we only pay 20% when on holiday, as long as they have a month's notice of holidays.
