I've been told I need to start registering dd for nurseries now (8 weeks) but don't have the first idea of what we're supposed to do!

Any advice?

Thanks very much
MM

Do you mean day nursery for soon or preschool age nursery ? this site will show what is around in your area then you need to call and visit .

Preschool - should've made that clear.

Thank you.

I mean that many boroughs have state-provided pre-school nurseries for age 3+ (i think) and you don't need to put your name down for these until the year before the child is due to go. If you want to go to a private nursery, the waiting list is entirely up to them, and of course really popular ones will have long lists which you need to get on asap.
