How far ahead do you need to book nursery in Finchley?

We are planning to move to Finchley next year and wondering whether we need to book nursery in advance. Our LO needs to go next July so we only have 9 months left. Does anyone know how far ahead you need to book for the area?

We will likely move to either North Finchley or West Finchley.

Any local recommendation is more than welcome 🙂

I'm not local but July is usually one if the worst months for spaces due to waiting for the rising 5s to start school and free up some space. Try and hold out until September if possible.

Not in that area but we were advised to get it sorted as soon as baby was born which I thought was crazy but was the only way we got a space round here. If I was you I’d get looking ASAP 😊
