How long did it take for your little one to settle at Nursery?

My 3YO started nursery in Jan and still cries every time he goes in. My daughter took a while to settle when she started nursery but definitely tried to be more social than my son. He’s latched onto his key teacher and isn’t making friends. My heart breaks every time I drop him off and I know it will get easier but just wondered how long it took your LO to settle?

My son started at 2YO and settled within about 4 weeks. He's 3.5 now and goes in like a dream. Haven't had tears on dropoff since those first few weeks.

How is drop off going? Does he need persuasion or support? Are you just saying bye and leaving? Sneaking out once he's happy?
