April intake 30 hours funded

Hi everyone I’m just looking for an answer to my question please.
My understanding is that a nursery needs to have input your 30 hours code by the 1st April at the start of the new term to be able to attend.
The nursery I’m looking at have said for my LO to start on the 6th April and give my code to them on that day and fill out the paperwork that day too. Does this sound right? I’m so confused and worried we will miss the April deadline.
Any help would be great thank you!

Hi - nurseries have about 2 weeks or so to input the codes and apply for funding every new term so it’ll be fine. Just ensure that you have applied for your code or refreshed (if asked to) before the 31st March. All will be ok :)
