5 day break after 1 month in nursery?

Hi all,

My baby will go to nursery mid July, as soon as he turns 1 years old! I'd like to book a holiday at the end of August and I wonder if it's going to be too disruptive for him given the first two weeks of nursery are just induction. I wonder if he's going to need another two weeks after the holiday to get used to the nursery environment again?

Should I book the holiday or not 😅?

No it’ll be fine, these things can’t be completely predictable anyway and it wouldn’t stop me booking a holiday- but just be mindful about him potentially coming down with nursery bugs and illnesses at that time- but you’ll be in the summer months when he starts at least which will hopefully cushion it a bit.

It wouldn't stop be booking a holiday no.
