We'll be moving to the West End of Glasgow in a couple of months time - I'd really appreciate it if you could give me any information on any of the nurseries in the area - good or bad!

Thanks in advance!

Derv.

How old is your little one? I'd strongly reccomend either of the two Montessori nurseries here. The West End Montessori (in the Park area) takes children from 2, Mulberry Bush Montessori (in Yorkhill) takes babies too.

The nursery I would really avoid is the West End Nursery. I had a really poor experience there and really regret that I never complained formally or made any kind of fuss about it.

Welcome to Glasgow. I hope you settle in well.

Hi I have used Victoria Park Kindergarden for 2 years and will keep dd here once her vouchers kick in latter this year. It is owned by a local couple who are both very hands on. The staff are either NNEB or equivalent or nursery assistants who all have regular training.

The children have loads of room and there is a great outdoor enclosed garden. My dd often does not want to leave.
Highly recommended.

My ds (almost 5) has been going to Mulberry Kindergarten (not to be confused with the Montessori one mentioned above) since he was 2.5, it's a small nursery with a real family kind of vibe to it. He loves it. It's just relocated from Park Gardens to lovely new premises at Fitzroy Place, at the Kelvingrove Park end of Sauchiehall Street.
