Over enthusiastic?

Morning!

I am 21 weeks pregnant and really struggling to find a nursery.

I contacted nurseries when I was 10 weeks to get on waiting lists for 3 days in February 2027 when she will be 9 months. I was fully aware I’ll need to pay the full amount until the Easter.

ONE nursery got back to me and insisted we did a tour. We did this and I immediately contacted them to register. This was Wednesday and I have heard nothing.

For context, I’m the deputy at a primary school and am used to people getting back to me pretty quickly. Do you think having this job puts me at a disadvantage? Could they not be getting back to me because they don’t like me?

Why is it so stressful!!?

They may not have had someone available to monitor emails or admin if staff are helping in the rooms. If you don’t hear by next weds I’d give them a call.

Why would they not like you?? Only one of them have met you and all you did was look round for 20 minutes.
How are you contacting them? Email may be easily missed or ignored. Have you phoned? Did you try the other nurseries again?
