Any comments on this nursery please? It has an outstanding OFSTED report . but I've read some dodgy things about other nurseries in the Asquith chain. I totally appreciate that the individual manager matters a lot, but given that I read the fees are on the high side I"m keen to get as much info as poss ..

thanks :-)

Hi DS (15 months) goes to another Asquith and we are very, very happy with it. The manager impressed me (and I am not easily impressed). Think what helps is that the nursery staff are a mix of ages, sex everything really - so not a bunch of teen girls looking after children as was the case in some nurseries.

It is expensive, but worth it as DS is happy. The Childminders (which had been our first care option) we saw through the local Children's Information Service were absolutely dreadful and frightening (all 'waiting' to go on first aid training etc). Some of my friends have children which they have taken out of Asquith - some over inflexibility of billing or 'swopping days' etc.

I fully recommend it. Both my children go - my eldest has been there now for over 3 years and they are also very, very happy. The staff are excellent and there is a relatively small turnover. Fees are high for babies, but do reduce as they get older.
