How many days/sessions a week would you recommend for a two year old?

My daughter is 2 in August and we're hoping to send her to a local Montessori nursery starting in Jan 08 (we're on the waiting list and it's five mins walk).

We've signed up for two afternoon sessions to start with (they recommended that as mornings/full-days always oversubscribed), but would like to extend this for the following term.

How many days/sessions a week should we aim for?

I guess four full days would be good for me as I'm back at work, but would that be too much for a wee one?

She is generally okay and seems to have v little prob going with nanny, grandparents, creche at gym etc, once she gets used to them.

Hi my dd who is 2 goes 3 mornings per week mon wed fri 9 till 11.30 started 2 weeks ago and seems to be loving it i was concerned at 1st as i thought she was too young but i have no concerns now shes asking to go and has made loads of friends i think it is good for them

My DD has been attending for 2 full days since she was 9 months old and she is fine. Remember plenty of kids go full time and they are fine too. So I dont think two full days is too much for a little one if you are happy with the care, etc.

Thanks sheena1 and micegg for the support! Sorry to take so long to respond but I've been offline (mumsnet) a while.
Lila started nursery for two full days last week and absolutely loves it!
I picked her up early on the first day but she seemed fine and on the second day I left her til 5.15 and when I arrived she didn't want to leave - so very glad seems to be going well so far.
