Nurseries suggestion & experience in Hove

Hi everyone,

We’re moving to Hove (Hangleton) soon and I’m currently on the hunt for a good nursery for my two little ones — a toddler and an 8-month-old.

Since we’re new to the area and don’t know many people locally yet, I’d really appreciate any insight from fellow parents 😊.
We’re in full time jobs (work can also be quite demanding), so I’m looking for a setting that can help to ease my mind knowing the children are well cared for with caring, attentive staff and flexible timing.

I’m planning to visit the following nurseries and would love to hear your experiences if your child has attended any of them:

  • Hopscotch West Hove
  • Apple Tree Nursery (New Church Road)
  • Apple Tree Montessori Nursery (Connaught Road)

If your child goes (or went) to any of these nurseries, would you recommend them?

And if there are any other local gems I might have missed, I’d love to hear about those too.

Thanks so much in advance — it’s all a bit overwhelming trying to choose the right place when you’re new to the area, so any advice would be really appreciated! 😊

Have you looked at the Ofsted reports? They are usually very thorough.

Yes I did! Would like to hear of mums’ experience too for a balanced view 😊.

Hello. I am in the same position - have you found a nursery that you liked?
