Hi All,

My son is due to move up to an older group at Nursery in November and I just wanted to check what the done thing is re thank you gifts for his current team/goodbye treats for his current class?

He was given a little chocolate lolly when one of his friends moved up but not sure if that was a one off or not as he’s not had anything since others moved on?

Thanks!

I wouldn't bother with gifts for the class. Not a thing in any nurseries I've worked in and they're too small to really understand it.

A gift for the team and/or his key-worker would be appreciated. From a bag of fresh supermarket doughnuts or cookies to however much you want to spend. If it's just for the key-worker make sure to put his name on it to save confusion.
