Is 2 days enough for baby to settle?

Is 2 full days in nursery next to each other enough for baby to settle (appreciate will take time). They will be 1 year when they start.

hoping to have baby with me and partner and limited time in nursery before age 3 but wondering if only 2 days in nursery will be worse for them settling ?

Can you split the full days into half days? Or even 2 half then a full? Might be a long day for the first day, we did half an hour for our settling in, then an hour and a half. He was fine with that

It depends on the child, my DS only goes half a day once a week and settled straight away. My friend DS goes 2 days a week and still hasn't settled.

Mine both went 2 days initially and had no bother settling. Took about a month and then all was fine.

Personal experience with mine....it would take them longer to settle than if they were in more.
DS started at 11 months, part time for 3 months. then full time after that. It took him about 6 months to settle to be honest as he didn't know if he was coming or going. A few days out of nursery then a few in, then another a home.
DD went straight full time. Settle within a few weeks.

Its all very child dependent and how to consistency I think. If you are consistent with your two day and they are back to back, I'm sure it will be fine

So long as the baby is well prepared for starting childcare then 2 days is fine.
