Childminder / Nurseries near Clapham Common Northside - HELP!

We are moving to Clapham Common Northside end of Septembre and are really struggling to find good childcare (nurseries / childminders) for DD who will be 14 months. We're looking for full time as DH and I both work full time. Would anyone have any recommendations to share? There seems to be lots of great options with nurseries but more in the Clapham South / Balham area. I saw a few posts on this but they all seem to date a while. DH and I are planning on exchanging on a house in the area but the stress of finding a good place for DD for Sept / October is making us reconsider, any help or advice on the area would be really appreciated!!

Clapham North to South isn’t that far? You might find it easier to get on the tube for work at Clapham South anyway.

It’s entirely up to you but Clapham is quite ‘young’. I think of it as an area for people in early 20’s although appreciate there are others. I think Balham much better for young families. I would just be worried about your neighbours and big house shares.

Have you been on the government website for registered childminders?

I ask because I had a huge panic when the nursery I was planning to use got closed down a month before I returned to work.

After much stress, emailing everyone in a reasonable distance on the list, several phone calls, I ended up with the most fantastic childminder.

I've since moved and had the exact same struggle as you're having trying to line up childcare with a house purchase.
