Hello,

Im only five months pregnant with our first child and already finding that most of my local nurseries have a 2 year waiting list! I realise now that this is not uncommon but I am seriously worried I wont have anywhere that I think is decent for our baby by the time I need to return to work (next july)

Any tips, words of wisdom or any recommendations ?(we really liked Nellys nursery so one like it would be great)

Just clicked on this to suggest Nellys but you've already sussed it out! The waiting-list thing is a complete nightmare... Have you also considered a nanny share? Plenty of similar families around the area and dc can still be on a list for nursery when a bit older. Sorry not more help!

look at simply childcare for a nanny share, i use to work fo r two families with the same age children partime, cost them less than nursery as salary is halved, you can decide on whose house to use or on eweek theirs one week yours or alternate days.
