Hey, I’m hoping somebody can give me some advice🥹
I registered my 3 year old into a school nursery which I know very well because my older child went there.
My little one has autism & I can’t seem to let him go so I haven’t taken him for 2 weeks but that’s not helping either of us.
Aside from that, I think my issue is I have health anxiety so I worry he’s going to get poorly.
I know I’m probably not going to escape it which is making me not send him.
I just need some advice/somebody to talk to I guess. I’m so nervous x

What treatment are you having for your anxiety OP?

SlagPit · 08/05/2025 20:38

It will do both of you good for him to go, OP.

I know that awful feeling, OP, of worrying and over thinking. It's sickening and I truly sympathise. He's your little child and you absolutely feel protective towards him.
But you what, its going to him ( and you) the power of good. Is it just for half a day? If so, it's only a short period of time. This time of year he is unlikely to catch any bugs and it will give him a chance to get stronger for next winter.

Take a deep breath and take him.
Let us know how you get on.x
