Wimbledon village/Wimbledon Park Nurseries

Hi, I am moving to Wimbledon in June and will need childcare for my son from July when I return to work. As you can imagine I’m feeling quite stressed about it!

We will be renting for a few months between the village and Raynes Park and then moving to Wimbledon Park so would love some recommendations for nurseries close to the village or Wimbledon Park.

Thank you!

I should add, he will be 12 months old in July.

I think with it being such short notice and July being one of the fullest times for nurseries (eldest children haven't left for school yet) that options will be limited. I would contact all of them and narrow down who actually has a space and go from there.

That’s what I’ve started to do but everyone I’ve spoken to so far seems to have space, so I’m wondering if I’m not finding the best places or whether the settings I’m finding are actually fine?

Local nurseries have a huge waiting list. 18m minimum for the good ones. I’d suggest looking further away or closer to work. The only ones with availability won’t be the good ones.
