Haven't heard back regarding nursery place

I applied for my daughter to go to a nursery in Septembe. I was told I would hear back no later than April 16th.
The post has been delivered and still no news.
I can't ring as its the school holidays but I did read somewhere that as her birthday is in April I may not hear until May time. Does anyone know if this is this correct ?
I'm getting a bit panicky that she may not have a place and had my heart set on that nursery.

Drop them an email, they will get back to you when they’re back in. Maybe before if the manager or admin have access to the emails during the holidays.

If it's anything like where I am, it'll be when the new term starts. If it's a term time nursery, no one will be in
