Has anyone's toddler managed a sickness bug outbreak at nursery?

This morning I received an alert from the nursery about sickness bug outbreak across all groups, I'll prefix this by saying we are no strangers to nursery illnesses in our house but, rather selfishly as the easter weekend is coming up I did a huge eye roll and crossing all crossable parts that she doesn't catch it so all our plans don't get written off 😂Just wondering if inevitable she'll get it or not really, has anyone else experienced similar and got away with it?!

Mine hasn't, nor has his brother or either myself or DP, but it definitely is possible as some of his little friends didn't get the last one.

We are never one of the lucky ones who don’t get them, but I do know some of the kids don’t! We got a similar heads up a few weeks ago, my little girl was poorly by that evening and all weekend but one of her nursery friends managed to avoid it and had a lovely weekend😂

My DD never picked up anything from nursery. Kids could literally be vomiting either side of her and she’d be there happily playing away… so you never know she might have an immune system like she had!

Thanks all! So far touch wood so good, just another 12 hours to go before we're out if danger zone, she's off till next week now so fingers crossed?

Hopefully all the children having a long weekend now will nip it in the bud, proving anyone who does catch it this weekend gives the full 48hrs before going back. It is handy when everyone is off at the same time in stopping the circulating viruses.

Of course everyone has been out and about and caught new ones…🤪

Very true! Can confirm we have been one of the lucky ones phew!
I debated soft play yesterday and immediately thought better of it 😂
