Hi there

I'm looking for a full-time childminder or nursery in Catford/Honor Oak/Forest Hill. Start from the beginning of September, but could be earlier.

Also require a babysitter for occasional evenings.

Any suggestions or recommendations? Thank you.

Didn't want to let this go unanswered.
I think you're really unlikely to find a good nursery in time, tbh. Mine (in FH) is booked up for two years in advance now. However, my neighbours found a CM just around the corner that they're very happy with by selecting from the list that Lewisham council provided.

Hi, btw! I'm in Forest Hill, wrong side o' the tracks. Whereabouts are you?

Thanks for your reply. We're going through the list from Lewisham. Loads of names but doesn't seem too many close by. We're near Blythe Hill Fields.

DD1 went to Hillyfields nusery in Brockley, just round the corner from the station so very handy for getting to work and picking her up after.

All the staff there were wonderful, DD1 still had friends she went there with and one of the former nursery nurses does and occasional bit of babysitting for us.

I would highly recommend Hillyfields.

A gew other people I know sent thrie kids to Catherine House - I personally didn;t like the feel of the place, but friends were all happy with it.

Make an appointment to go and see them and see how you feel. BTW I live in between Forest Hill and Honor Oak so not too far away from you. Brockley is a very easy journey.
