Hi All

Hope you're doing well

Recently my son's nursery teacher said he need extra support or special need support ( that make me very sad)

For me he's ok he communication is less but he understands everything whatever I said ...

But there point of view is that he's not following routine he's not sitting on circle time, he doesn't involve in activities, he's hitting kids in nursery and do what he likes to do ...

He is 3 year old
Can anyone help me

I am very worried about him I don't know does he need something or not because in some things he's very very good and very intelligent

Please anyone facing same problem please let me know.....

My DS was the same as in not interacting, told he was behind with speech. Yes it’s upsetting to be told this at nursery but they are there to help - take all the extra support they offer, they will work with him and offer SEN support to help get him where he needs to be to start school.

The extra support and SALT offered to my DS at nursery made a huge difference to him and he came on leaps and bounds. He is now in reception and has been discharged from both SALT and the schools SEN register but I wouldn’t hesitate to take any extra help or support they felt he needed in the future.
