Hi,
My baby will be 9 months old by end of August so eligible for funding from 1st September for the Autumn term. However, I won't be going back to work until 30th September and baby will start nursery by mid September. Can I still apply for the 30 hours for that term ? I read that you need to apply for the hours earliest 31 days before return to work. Thanks.

Yes you MUST have applied for your code by 31st August. This is a hard deadline, no exceptions.

You must have applied for your code before the beginning of term. Can you bring your return to work date forward by a week? Or use holiday?

Are you on annual leave in September? That will mean you have technically returned to work within 31 days. Don’t leave it late to apply for the code
