Next steps for the new nursery?

I have to:
*check with the council about council about business rates
*check with my development worker about supporting my application
*fill in a DC1 ready to post and DC2's for my directors
*meet the builder round there
*speak to the town action group about my business future in the area
*ring the bank to see about a commercial mortgage

Can anyone think of anything else I should de?

I also need to ring OFSTED about childminding & attend a CM drop in

Have you had an offer accepted yet?

Can't put an offer in until I have done a fair amount of that

My existing finance won't transfer to a new property

Plus I need to get the development workers support

& Find out how much it will cost to renovate

Have you any idea on what sort offer they would accept on it, or do you think it will have to be around asking price? Being hopeful for you here!

No idea

I don't think (realistically) I can afford the asking

I will make one offer with a completion within 4 weeks & that it tbh

If they don't accept I will walk away

Sounds like a good tactic, it's been on the market a while so hopefully they will be keen to sell.

Just thought. Survey. Does the building seem in a good state. No damp etc? I'm assumimg you'll need a survey if you need new finance anyway.

WRT building work. Can you get also some quotes from a builder nearer to where you are now? Just so you've got something to compare.

Have you given any more thought to partition screens rather than stud walls? I'm just thinking if you get a lot of interest for baby places (and I think you will) you might regret not being able to increase your baby area from 6 to 9 places without taking down walls.

Where is your nearest full daycare nursery competitor?

Survey - my dad has looked at it - he is(was?) a Structural Engineer. I will also get a survey with the mortgage.

Builder - this guy has done tonnes of work for me & the town is within his normal working area. He won't jeapodise (sp?) working for me again by being silly on prices

The baby area was meant to be your partitions - so moveable

Nearest umm - me 10 miles away, next town over 9 miles away, Great Yarmouth about 20 miles away
