Nurseries that allow term time only?

Around Walsall...

Is this a common thing for Nurseries to allow/facilitate for a baby from 9 months?

Baby will be eligible for 15 hours funded, and Husband is a teacher so we would only need term time. Worrying about whether it's a thing Nurseries are okay with...

Not in Walsall but usually not IME. They wouldn't fill the space just for the holidays.

Our nursery were okay with it (Yorkshire) but I find childminders more flexible.

Look at nurseries that provide holiday clubs for older children.

YMCA Black Country group do. Ours is Bilston Hurst Hill but there may be one closer to you.

I'm not in that area at all but in our city there are some nurseries that will facilitate this, but not loads so choice would be limited and I imagine they would get booked up even further in advance too.

My nursery I work at allows term time.

Will your husband not need to do any work during school holidays or need some time off as he otherwise wouldn't get time off?

Also you may find baby struggles when going back after school holidays (especially the long ones) as they have to resettle again so might be worth keeping them in 1 day a week if possible.

I'm Walsall postcode and my childminder is term time only.

Near me the local authority nursery schools are term time only. I'm not sure of the age at which they take children though. Might be worth exploring for when your baby is older. The one round the corner from me has a long waiting list.
