Help my EBF and contact napping son!

Looking for reassurance please… or perhaps advice!
My 7mo son is EBF and only contact naps on me in the day and bed shares at night (he wakes every time on cot transfer… I have tried for hours!!)
He’ll be starting nursery at 1yo. How will he nap?!
Anyone else had a baby like this? How was nursery when they started??

DS apparently napped fine at nursery. Contact naps only when I was there though!

You don’t need to worry about this at this age. Carry on completely as you are.

I ebf, contact napped and bed shared with both of mine.

My first I went back to work at 6 months, this baby took a bottle fine and I pumped at work and sent him with milk. Nursery let him contact nap on them to start with and slowly got him used to sleeping in and cot. We carried on contact napping and cosleeping at home,

My second started nursery at 9 months. She never took a bottle but she did drink well from an open cup, she wouldn’t drink milk at nursery from a cup but she started to eat more food and drank plenty of water. She feeds plenty at home. They rock her to sleep and then put her down once she’s sleeping.

The only way I’ve ever been able to put a baby to sleep is by feeding them 😂

Hope that’s helps! Please don’t spend the next 5 months worrying about it. You absolutely don’t need to change anything, teaching them how to use a cup is very useful though!

My baby was the same but when he started nursery at 1 he slept independently there took a couple of weeks but soon was in the swing of it

This is so so helpful, I feel like my last few months of maternity won’t be filled with stress now. Thank you!
