Enquiry on October Holiday

Hello dear mums,

Good morning

I recently moved to Scotland, my 3 year old DD attends nursery, I see there is a holiday in October, please does anyone know whether this is a final holiday for Christmas because I see parents giving gifts to thier teachers and I don't know what to do, kind of confused

I will appreciate a response.

I'm in England but I'm guessing you mean the October half term. It's usually 1 week and then 6 or 7 weeks later, they will break for Christmas.

No need for gifts for the half term holidays, if people buy gifts, it's usually for the staff at Christmas and then when the child leaves.
