A really special gift

My oldest son is about to leave nursery after 3 years. He started during covid and through that and since it has been the most WONDERFUL place for him I can imagine. The 'aunties' treat the children with as much care and love as if they were their own. I'd really like to get them something special for when he leaves - will obviously make them a card with my son, but can anyone think of anything a bit more interesting/unique than choices, mugs etc?__

A gift for the setting so something they will use with other children but which also makes them think of yours when ever they get it out.

If there is a specific area he enjoyed playing in most then you could link it to that area of the nursery e.g some tonka trucks or an easel with some paints etc.

A special plant ? A cactus? Venus fly trap?

Maybe too late now but I received a beautiful personalised wooden magnet. I absolutely love it! Makes me smile and think of the child every time I see it :-)
