I know this has been done to death but I need someone to dumb it down for me please.

DD will be going to nursery in Jan when she is 1.
So the funding code will kick in straight away won't it as new term?

I go back to work in Jan, from what I've read it goes off what you earn prior to Mat leave is that correct?

When am I able to apply for her code?

You can apply 30 days before your return to work and no later than 31st December for the Spring term.

If you go back 1st February onwards then you won't get funding until the summer term (after Easter).
