Eynsham nurseries

Hello! I would appreciate some help. I'm about to move to Eynsham and have looked at the only nursery that has availability - The Oxford Nursery in Eynsham. When I went to visit, it looked very dirty/messy/tired. Is there anyone out there who has sent a child there and had good/bad experiences? I'd love to get some insight. In addition, if anyone knows of childminders in the area, I'd love to hear more. I'm struggling to find anything with availability. Thank you

Hi @Radders83 I know it's a while ago that you posted but I had a slightly similar reaction to looking at the Summertown branch. The building was very tired but the staff and children seemed happy... I haven't decided what to do yet. Just wondered what your conclusion was? Did your little one start at nursery?

Hi there @NorthernDaisy - yes, the children were all happy and laughing and the teachers seemed sweet also. It's still on my mind as I felt like getting the marigolds out and giving it a good scrub myself, but we will send my daughter there as there are zero other options. Not my first choice but my only choice sadly as I need to work

Thanks so much @Radders83 and many apologies for my slow reply... I appreciate hearing your thoughts! I've now reserved a place at the summertown branch. The other big nursery near to us (Bright Horizons) has just closed so I thought I had to take the plunge with the Oxford Nursery. Let's hope it works out for our little ones.🙏
